SyScrap is a Point-Of-Sale and inventory solution for purchasing and tracking scrap and recycled materials.
SyScrap will generate purchase receipts, print checks, save customer images, and do the bookkeeping for you.
How it works
Scrap inventory accumulates as you make scrap purchases from your customers and then you can sell it
to your recycle dealers from that same inventory. Prices are set per the unit that you are using,
so units would be like "lb", "kg", "hwt", "ton", etc. The unit of "each" can be used for things
like catalytic converters or complete vehicles.
Customer records and images are created on the customers first visit as required in your state
or you use the default "CASH" customer if wanted. Customer records can include name, address, phone,
price factor, drivers license number, and any other info required in your state.
Special Features
Returning customers can be found by cust#, name, address, phone or words within these such as last 4 digits of phone#.
Returning customer images will pop up automatically if wanted- this will allow you to check if everything is current.
Sales (and purchase) history can be totaled or exported to Excel for any date range, customer, scrap code, etc.
You can set (factor) prices up or down per customer as needed in the customer record.
Vehicle records can be created for vehicles to be crushed or recycled as needed. The vehicle record can include
VIN, make-model-year, dates in and out, title info, and any other info required in your state.
Requirements
Runs on any Windows single computer or network(option). Print receipts to any Windows printer and can
also print the payment checks to a check printer. Printers can be single sheet plain paper
or perforated tractor feed. Your company logo or graphic can be printed on each receipt.
